Dear beloved Parishioners and friends of St Monica's Hoxton, happy to see you again and welcome to our Parish, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
                                                                         WEEKEND MASS TIMES
                          Saturday (vigil): 6.30pm, SUNDAY: 8.30am, 10.30am, 12noon & 6.30pm
                                                                      Weekday Masses:  9.30am
               The Church will be open 15 minutes before each Mass and close immediately after for cleaning.
MASS CAPACITY: 80 INDIVIDUALS (Please seat together if you are a household) 
When coming to Church, you must wear a face mask, scan QR Code using the NHS COVID-19 App before you enter the Church. Please adhere to all social distance guidelines.
Communion: Distributed under one kind, on the hand, while standing.
Collection:   Please put your donation/collection in the basket while leaving the church after the final blessing. You                             can also make your donation using our contactless device at the back of the Church. 
Sunday obligation remains suspended. Therefore, we encourage you to attend Mass during the week, if you are able and wish to do so.
Safety: Those displaying symptoms of COVID-19, and those at risk, are kindly asked to please stay at home until it is                  safe to attend Mass.
Restrictions: No offertory procession, sign of peace and congregational singing during Mass.
Confessions: Every Saturday (5pm-6pm) and on request, with the appropriate social distance, either in the sacristy or                          at the back room of the Church.

First Holy Communion 2021 - Parents are invited to submit the names of their children (age 7-10) for First Holy Communion Course. Please parents should register by email to the Parish office. Please attach copies of Baptism certificates of your son or daughter to the email.  The start date for this course will be communicated soon.

Confirmation 2021 - If you are 13-15 and have not yet made your confirmation, registration is now open. Please parents should register their children by email to the Parish office. Attach copies of Baptism and First Holy Communion certificates to the email. The start date for this course will be communicated soon.

Parish Food shelter services
Our Parish continues to support the homeless and families in need with help from Caritas Westminster. Hot meals are available every week (Monday and Tuesday) from 6pm - 7pm at St Monica's RC Church 19 Hoxton Square N1 6NT. For food donations or to become a volunteer, please contact Aina - 07759137860, 07305765386 or call the Parish office 02077395006. Food  bank news from Hackney Food bank

Please note that with immediate effect we have closed our Tuesday foodbank distribution centre, St Luke’s Church (also known as Hackney Central Foodbank Centre), until further notice. Our other four distribution centres remain open and fully operational.
